Hitler Circular Portrait Postcard (Special Postmark)

I have always found this picture interesting. Hitler smiling, not really how you would think of him and not often seen.

Postmarked Reichenberg Dec 4 1938 which was a nationwide “day of solidarity” to collect donations for the Winterhilfswerk (winter relief). A fund designed to help the needy in the winter months but most ended up going to the governments bank accounts.

Also on this day Jews were ordered to stay off the streets between noon and 8:00 PM.

Great addition to the collection with a lot of history.
