British GS MK 6 Combat Helmet MED (Gulf War) Named

British Military GS MK 6 combat helmet with a production date of 1987 and sized MED. This helmet is still in great condition and comes with the cover as issued for the Gulf War 1990-91. The inside harness is still in good condition the padding has no tears or issues. The outside of the helmet elastic has begun getting a little loose due to time.

The name CPL Bruce is on the outside but inside the name is Mcintosh. I believe when issued new it was to Mcintosh then maybe he transferred units or his enlistment was up and got out, so then the helmet was issued to CPL Bruce.

The number 24679190 is on the inside of helmet where the name Mcintosh is located. Maybe a service number? Would be interesting to find out what unit this soldier served with.
